£1.50 off coffee and cake for English Tourism Week

24 February 2026

Join us during English Tourism Week for a coffee and cake deal!

English Tourism Week takes place Friday 13 to Sunday 22 March 2026 to celebrate the sector and raise awareness of the value, range and quality of English tourism.

We're celebrating our part in tourism on the Isle of Wight with a coffee and cake deal for our wonderful visitors.  A warm welcome is guaranteed at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, whatever the weather (or road closures!).  Early spring is the perfect time to come along and enjoy a relaxing visit with a cup of coffee and a piece of cake.

Take a gentle stroll around the sanctuary and meet over 100 donkeys, ponies, a mule and a horse before heading to our café for well-earned refreshments. From 13 to 22 March 2026, enjoy £1.50 off when you buy a coffee and cake together.

Our tempting selection of cakes changes regularly, from classic Victoria sponge to indulgent chocolate brownies. Pair your slice with your favourite coffee - whether that’s a café latte, cappuccino or something totally different - it's up to you!

The sanctuary, café, and shop are open every day from 10.30am to 3pm.
This offer is available 13 to 22 March only excluding Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 March 2026.

St Johns Road - road closure March 2026

There are road works on St Johns Road, Wroxall, further down in the village. You can still get to the sanctuary by car from the Whitely Bank, Godshill and Shanklin end of St John's road.

There's more information and a guide to getting to us on our website.

For more information please go to the Island Roads website.

Due to the road works, the usual bus service has changed and there is a shuttle bus that goes past the sanctuary. You can find information about getting to us by bus on the Southern Vectis website.
