Your support for our donkeys is needed more than ever. In 2024 our medical costs alone were over £100,000. Feed costs came to over £41,000 and we spent over £16,000 on bedding.
Meet Fred and Roo
Recent arrivals Fred and Roo were discovered living in poor conditions. They needed immediate treatment at the mainland equine hospital, treatment which cost the sanctuary £4,000.
Now happily living with us they are cared for, well fed, free from pain and enjoying life meeting our visitors.
Fred and Roo's story is just one example of the care we provide for animals in need.
