Christmas Posting Dates

1 December 2025

Please order early for Christmas!

Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary Christmas posting dates 2025

If you're planning some Christmas shopping with us this year, please see below for our last posting dates. The official Royal Mail last mailing date for 2nd class post is Wednesday 17 December.

Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary last order dates for delivery before Christmas:

We will send items out by 2nd class post on the 17 December. Please do order early as although the 17 December is the official 2nd class last posting day, things can go haywire at Christmas!
We will continue to send items out after the 17 December, but there is even less chance they will be with you by Christmas Day.

If you would like to buy an adoption in person, our adoption hub will be open on site at the sanctuary until 3pm on Christmas Eve. You can pick up some adoption goodies to go away with for the big day, but your welcome pack will be sent at the beginning of January 2025.

Missed the last posting date? We can still help!

  • You can buy a digital adoption up until 4pm on Wednesday 24 December and receive it in your inbox before Christmas.
  • You can buy a digital adoption gift voucher any time - even on Christmas Day. This way the gift recipient can choose and purchase their adoption whenever they choose.
  • As well as adoption vouchers, we offer digital Donkey Experience vouchers that be bought any time. This amazing gift is wonderful for animal lovers - it's the gift of two unforgettable hours behind the scenes at the sanctuary as a member of the staff team. Read more about our Donkey Experience.

Please note that any adoptions taken out after 4pm on Wednesday 24 December may not be sent out until Monday 5 January 2026.

If you'd like to visit us over Christmas, our opening times are available on our website.
