Funding from Petplan

25 August 2024

We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded £10,000 from Petplan

This generous funding will go towards the building of new field shelters as we develop the sanctuary and create more paddocks on our land. Field shelters are vital to have in each paddock as they provide shelter from the elements. This means our animals can shelter from the sun in hot conditions, find relief from the wind, and importantly, keep dry out of the rain. Donkeys’ coats do not contain the same oils that horses do, so when they get wet the water does not run off, but soaks in. If donkeys get wet and cold it can then lead to illness.

Take a look at Petplan's website or social media pages for more great work they are helping to fund.
