Sunny is a bright, elderly pony who now lives at the sanctuary on palliative care. She has a gentle nature and enjoys all the attention she receives from staff, volunteers, and visitors, happily soaking up every bit of fuss.
One of Sunny’s favourite treats is a bath — though she much prefers the water to be warm and toasty rather than cold! With her sweet personality she has quickly captured hearts.
Sunny is on palliative care due to having cushings and very poor liver function. This means that our aim is to keep her as comfortable as we can for as long as we are able.
