Sunny is a bright, older lady who lives at the sanctuary on palliative care. She came here from Porchfield in early 2026. She is a pony with a gentle nature and enjoys the attention she receives from staff, volunteers and visitors. She’s happy to soak up every bit of fuss and her sweet personality she has quickly captured hearts.
Sunny is elderly, has Cushing’s Disease (which affects the pituitary gland), very poor liver function and is on palliative care. Our aim is to keep her comfortable, giving her a happy life for as long as we are able to.
One of Sunny’s favourite treats is a bath - though she much prefers the water to be warm and toasty rather than cold!
