Phoenix, who came to us in March 2020, was the very first mule in many years to arrive at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary. Her dad was a large donkey and her mum a small miniature Shetland pony. She is from Newport on the Island. Phoenix has settled in well, preferring the company of ponies to donkeys. She is headstrong, but very sweet with a big personality. She absolutely loves a scratch!
