The Miniature Herd 2017-06-03T15:19:46+00:00

Come and meet our “Miniature Herd” – Dennis, Geraldine, Wilfie, Felicity and Angelica – all ready to feel the love!

A summary of our Miniature Herd…

  • Dennis – was handed over to the Sanctuary in 2013 and he was in very good condition when he arrived. He is now a firm favourite here and loves nothing more than knocking over the poo barrows in the morning – when they are full!

  • Geraldine – is more timid than the other miniatures. She likes to follow them everywhere and keeps out of trouble! The only time she gets in front of the other miniatures is in the race to their shelter if it is raining!

  • Wilfie – is a really loveable donkey. He was born in the New Forest and came to the Sanctuary in 2014. He is now healthy, happy and a handful!

  • Felicity – is the most playful of the miniatures. She loves a wellington boot and likes nothing more than throwing a boot up in the air and watching the other donkeys reaction!

  • Angelica – is very much her own boss! She is darker than the other miniatures and has a mischievous streak. She loves throwing the vets equipment about when they visit!
