The Traditional Herd 2017-05-19T15:53:52+00:00

The Traditional Herd – One of the great things about our donkeys is that they live a long time – sometimes for over 50 years!

A summary of our Traditional Herd…

  • Archie – Archie has made excellent progress since coming to the Sanctuary and has made many friends, both donkeys and human alike.

  • Scott & Oliver – Scott & Oliver are both inseparable friends, having arrived at the sanctuary 25 years ago.

  • Brandy – Brandy was rescued as a small foal as he had been taken from his mother at less than three months of age and was sold at market.

  • Snowy – Snowy came to us in need of specialised care and attention as he was so very young and still in need of mothers milk.
